May he RIP. As a child I saw many games in Atlanta thanks to my mom being one of their most ardent fans.. Saw him play many times in Milwaukee when I was a kid, even met him once at a place called the “Diner” on the Bluemound road. He was fantastic.. The man was not just an iconic baseball player (perhaps the best ever) but also an amazing human being. Hank remains overlooked today as I consider him arguably the greatest baseball player of all time.. Hank Aaron is still the home run champ in my book.. Blocked John Andrew Smith for his remark … A great tribute Mr. President! He was one of my heros We enjoyed the Braves when we lived in Atlanta.. Thank you Mr. President. Hank Aaron was my favorite player up to the time he retired. I remember him and will never forget what he gave to baseball. Almost there poster

Great post. Hank Aaron was so much more than just a baseball player. My condolences to his family. May he rest in God’s peace.. Yes.. Atlanta is in mourning for sure…such a great man..you never hear bad things about him ever..one of the kindest and most talented men who walked this Earth..God be with his family…I met his wife and she was incredible also. RIP Mr. Aaron – you were an inspiration to many people!. Many are not aware of the horrible treatment that Hank was subjected to in the name of racism. His strength was as incredible as his baseball talents.. Hank Aaron was a man of class and talent. He will be missed for his grace and not giving in to hatred.. A beautiful and appropriate eulogy for a great ball player and a very fine man. I grew up watching him play in Atlanta and for many of the white citizens there, he made us very proud.
