Yes, thank you for advocating for this but firstly, Biden hasn’t done it yet, and secondly Afghan lives, including women, will suffer and die if we stay, from droning and atrocities committed.. Thanks Bernie and Joe, after the waste of 20 years Afghanistan will remain as it was after the British and the Soviets wasted years there. Non military support for education and infrastructure is at least worth a try.. You can’t make a country into a democracy if they don’t want it. You can’t force it. I wish all the girls and women could go somewhere where they are safe, but that is impossible to do. Bin Ladin is dead and isis is diminished so we accomplished what could be done. I’m sure someone will be keeping track of what is going on there to protect our country.. I hope the women and kids are protected and educated. Reality is they are waiting for us to leave so they can go back to there old way of life which was never about terrorism against other countries. I cannot understand how Biden could have won over Sanders??… It is so sad to see a man with such demonstrable integrity and emotional intelligence being consigned to offering opinions on elementary decisions, over which he has perfect clarity. Instead, he could have been the fearless leader of the charge…. Not leaving Afghanistan as long as big pharma controls part of the government.
