At Loewe, creative director Jonathan Anderson came together with regular collaborator and Turner Prize-nominee Anthea Hamilton – with whom he has worked on exhibition costumes and even a limited-run wallpaper – on a runway set featuring specially commissioned bulbous Loewe leather pumpkins, inspired by engorged show competition vegetables. Guests also entered the Tennis Club de Paris show venue through a giant reproduction of her 2010 artwork “Aquarius” positioned on scaffolding – a piece that explores notions of idealised male perfection, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s “Vitruvian Man”.
