Well deserved. I think Mayor Pete should be our next UN Ambassador. The many languages he speaks would be an enormous asset, as would his genuine interest in other cultures. . What a wonderful award for such a wonderful program. Well deserved and well needed!! Bravo!. A deserving recipient. I’m sure America’s participation in the WFP will increase under a Biden administration.. BEST AWARD OF ALL! So proud to see an award going to hard working workers.. And, that’s the royal we.. My first volunteer summer job was WFP in West Africa. It is a wonderful organization operating internationally without bias. Refreshing.. Years ago, I listened to a talk Coleman McCarthy, journalist turned peace activist, gave to a high-school audience. His message was that the fastest way to peace was to take care of people’s basic needs. Of which food is one. Thank you!
