That’s such a mum thing to do, what an amazing woman, just threw herself at the problem literally, and then to be embarrassed by her heroics later on. Joanne Burton- Toljagic. Moral of the story: do not go camping where theres alligators. What a brave and selfless woman to take such immediate and life-endangering action. . Wow!!! Incredible person!!! Courage before fear!!! She and Steve Irwin are probably swapping stories!!! . I’m sad about the crocodile, so happy the friend was saved, and utterly amazed at this woman’s courage . Oh my goodness, I remember Croc Granny! What a brave and selfless act, I’m glad her story not only lives on, but is now being heard by countless others all over the world.. I remember hearing this story on the news and it’s one that you don’t ever really forget! What an amazingly brave lady and I’m sure there’s not one Aussie who wouldn’t agree! I remember this happening! We are always telling our kids not to camp near the water or wander near the edge because of crocs. We have told them your story. Im so sorry to hear your mum has passed. She was a very brave woman.. I grew up in QLD and I remember this story! Croc victim saved by a legendary granny! What an awesome lady. Sorry to hear she passed away. . When fight or flight kicks in that when you see who’s made of what.. Is it at all possible to not read this story in your head with an Aussie accent?! What a brave woman. So sorry for your loss She was beautiful and so kind.. Dad wasn’t shocked. He knew how mom got when she set her mind to things.. Can you imagine being so brave as to wrestle a crocodile at 60!?? I could never!

Thank you, Brandon, for all that you have done to create empathy and compassion for our fellow humans.. This is exactly the way my husband and I feel about each other. Ive never seen it put into words so well. This man is living my worst nightmare. I hope he finds peace if she doesn’t get well. I feel exactly the same way about my husband. My heart hurts for you, but how blessed you are to have known this love. Most people never do.. Ten years ago. I so hope there was some treatment or miracle and that she is still alive.. With the right person,even the unfairness of life seems beautiful and in your favor. Lucky are we if we find that one. Lucky if both of us know it and treasure it like life’s breath itself.. I can’t tell which one of them is sick, but it almost doesn’t matter because it’s both of them. Wow.
